At the the National Archaeology Museum of Altino

In occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Museum,  for initiative of the
Promoting Committeee Altino. Glass of the Venetian Lagoon, the Museum expose
the most important Roman glass of its collection, some of them never seen before.
Bowls, cups, jars, plates, pitchers, jewelry and toilette utensils, realised with very skilled techniques,
represents one of the most important pieces of Roman glass art, at international
level.
The exhibition is accompanied by a volume, gathering the results of an
interdisciplinary research (Vianello Libri).

Opening of the sculptures realised by Lino Tagliapietra with the neutral
industrial glass of Stevanato Group.

For this occasion, master Tagliapietra will offer a demonstration of ancient Roman
Techniques, using a temporary oven on site
(also on Sunday May 16th, at h 2-4 pm).
